Outpatient clinic
Because of specially qualified staff infusions and chemotherapies can be performed in our outpatient clinic. Numerous interventions (colonoscopies, gastroscopies, proctoscopies, biopsies of liver, lymph nodes, bone marrow) can be done on an outpatient basis.
Clinical studies
In addition to our outpatient clinic we are also involved in clinical research projects. These clinical studies investigate promising new drugs. For these drugs data on efficacy and safety already exist. This offers patients increased access to the latest treatment options. Such studies are conducted according to strict European guidelines. All clinical studies are controlled by ethics committees in order to protect the patients' rights. (Of course, all clinical trials are conducted in compliance with data privacy laws).
Needless to say, our patients are informed about the individual treatment results of the study. If therapeutic success is not as expected or serious adverse events occur, patients can withdraw their participation in the trial at any time without ending the patient's and the physician's relationship. All clinical studies in our practice are coordinated by experienced and trained staff. Thus you have a contact person in addition to your physician.
