  FibroScan (Teaser)

The FibroScan is a new tool for the assessment of chronic liver diseases and may replace liver biopsy at least partially. With the FibroScan we can assess pathological changes in the liver tissue in patients with chronic liver diseases. The examination is similar to an ultrasound examination, is painless and without risk for the patient.     More

  Clinical studies

In addition to our outpatient clinic we are also involved in clinical research projects. These clinical studies investigate promising new drugs. For these drugs data on efficacy and safety already exist. This offers patients increased access to the latest treatment options. Such studies are conducted according to strict European guidelines. All clinical studies are controlled by ethics committees in order to protect the patients' rights. (Of course, all clinical trials are conducted in compliance with data privacy laws).     More
